    We have a Research Survey Interviewer position.
    Spanish/English Preferred.

    The purpose of this position is to provide support to research evaluation projects by assisting research teams and Center for Evaluation and Survey Research staff to gather information through telephone or mailed surveys, prepare mailings, maintain and update project databases, schedule research procedures, assist with one-on-one and group visits, contact study participants and facilitate progress of study functions.


    ACCOUNTABILITIES:

    Interviews participants via phone following prescribed scripts and protocols.

    Enters screening information to database.

    Schedules research procedures and informs staff.

    Facilitates appointments (collects forms, administers questionnaires, performs research procedures and measurements, schedules future appointments).

    Enters appointment information into database.

    Assists in preparation of mailed surveys.

    Prepares, mails and tracks communication as required.

    Maintains and follows timelines for project completion.

    Maintains and updates project documentation.

    Informs project team of participant experience and identifies improvement opportunities for data collection and recruitments.

    Supplies data for reports.

    Performs other duties as required.





    REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:


    High School Diploma or equivalent

    Exceptional communication and customer service skills

    Attention to detail

    Strong organizational skills

    Ability to establish and maintain effective relationships with project staff and participants

    Ability to adapt to shifting priorities; Must demonstrate flexibility and judgment to handle unforeseen situations that may arise

    Ability to work with minimal supervision

    Strong computer experience


    PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

    Associate degree in a social science or health related field

    One year research experience; Knowledge of research methodology

    Experience with Microsoft Word and Excel

    Experience with REDCap or other data collection programs

    Experience with Epic scheduling

    Experience making telephone calls to clients, patients or members


    MAJOR CHALLENGES:


    The Research Technician/survey specialist will need to be comfortable calling potential research participants to introduce study and survey opportunities for a large portion of their workday.


    Satisfy the requirements of multiple study investigators/project managers or Center for Evaluation and Survey Research team members in delivering quality products within required deadlines.

    Must be very well organized, accurate and able to work within short deadlines.

    Must follow publication, proposal and project guidelines accurately and consistently.


    DECISION-MAKING:


    The Research Technician is expected to take the initiative on all job accountabilities with the support and consultation of the Research Investigators, Project Coordinators, Project Managers, RPMO Supervisors, or Center for Evaluation and Survey Research Supervisors.
