Job Description

As a CPO Security Officer - Armed Patrol Specialist in Hollywood, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As an Armed Patrol Officer at a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, and maintain a visible presence that helps to deter security-related incidents. You will engage with staff, patients, and visitors using clear communication and strong customer service while documenting observations and escalating concerns as needed. What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a healthcare location.

Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including assisting with de-escalation support, documenting events, and notifying appropriate personnel per post orders.

Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of assigned areas such as lobbies, corridors, waiting areas, parking areas, and building perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and/or identify hazards and maintenance concerns.

Monitor access points and security-related systems such as cameras, alarms, and visitor entry processes, and report unusual conditions and/or policy violations through the established chain of communication.

Complete detailed shift logs and incident reports, communicate clearly during shift turnover, and coordinate with clinical staff and/or local responders as directed by site procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

Be at least 21 years of age.

1+ Year Law Enforcement or Military Experience or Corrections.

CPO Qualified.

Customer service experience is preferred.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
