    Our client, one of the world's largest pharmaceutical companies, is actively hiring a Windows Lab Technician to join their team This role will be onsite in their Cambridge, MA/Fenway lab environment.

    ***This is a 6 month W2 contract with benefits***

    In this role, you will provide critical support for the lab IT service team. They are looking for someone to administer and assure connectivity of the customer's Windows platform while also supporting the operating system, desktop hardware, instrument-controlled software, and the imaging of computers.

    Responsibilities

    • Implement, monitor, and provide technical support for their customer laboratory IT environments
    • Administer and assure connectivity of the Windows platform
    • Create and maintain a physical inventory of lab equipment, PC's, software, and any other information specified by the client
    • Manage onboarding, retirement, and relocation of equipment
    • Implement Windows security including user/group permissions, file/folder permissions, group policies, etc

    Desired Skills & Experience

    • Bachelor's degree
    • 2+ years of technical support experience in a Windows environment
    • Prior experience working in the Life Science/Biotech/Health Care industry
    • Experience working in a research laboratory environment
