- Provide direct therapeutic services to clients and program participants as needed, including group work and family therapy.
- Administer required behavioral and mental health assessments for children and families.
- Facilitate comprehensive clinical-related training to interns and support staff.
- Coordinate services for each participant in conjunction with the case management team.
- Participate in weekly case staffing and offer clinical feedback regarding client treatment needs.
- Attend, facilitate, and assist with providing ongoing education and support services to adult caregivers seeking reunification.
- Provide crisis intervention and guidance to children and families regarding clinical components of crisis intervention and long-term treatment strategies.
- Apply a working knowledge of child welfare best practices to protect all clients in care and mitigate risk factors where possible.
- Maintain documentation of all clinical activities in accordance with program and state policy.
- Maintain an updated, working knowledge of DHS and UC/ORR policy and operating procedures.
- Meet regularly with supervisor to consult on cases, review case plan decisions, and evaluate client progress.
- Provide translation support as needed for clients, sponsors, and staff.
- Comply with laws and regulations regarding client confidentiality.
- Provide supervision to interns, as needed.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Maintain confidentiality of client information.
- Maintain appropriate professional boundaries.
- Works on other duties, tasks, and projects as assigned.
- Ensures agency compliance with the National Council on Accreditation and other mandatory regulations/standards.

- Maintain required certifications.
- Review, understand, and be responsible for program policies.
- Provide documents in a timely fashion to Human Resources (HR).
- Report changes in status to HR as required by policy.
- Must be bilingual in English and Spanish
- Master's degree in Social Work with direct clinical experience, required.
- Licensure (LMSW or LCSW-C) to provide clinical services in Georgia or eligible to obtain professional licensure or registration; Independent Licensure is preferred.
- Experience providing clinical services to refugee and/or immigrant populations, is strongly preferred.
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and participate in emergency on-call.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Spanish, including interpersonal communication, and clinical and persuasive writing skills.
- Ability to work under stress or in a fast-paced environment, including crisis situations.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to collaborate with others, including case management staff, educational team members, supervisors, and external stakeholders.
- Computer skills adequate to perform essential functions (Apricot, Microsoft Office, and any internal case management software).
- Must pass a criminal history screen, including state and local child protection agency registries.

CHRIS 180 Migrant Wellness Program provides 24-hour care for unaccompanied children (UC) under the care of the Office of Refugee Resettlement (ORR) who are placed in residential care as they prepare for sponsorship. The program provides stabilization, behavioral support, comprehensive case management, educational services, daily living skills acquisition, recreational and therapeutic activities, and coordination of care. The Migrant Wellness Program provides a family-involved, trauma-informed, and strengths-based approach to care within residential communities throughout the Atlanta area.
Reporting to the Lead Clinician, the Clinician is responsible for direct therapeutic services to clients including individual and group therapy settings. S/he administers assessments, coordinates services, and provides emergency on-call support to ensure high-quality clinical services. This position is expected to function effectively with moderate supervision while following the guidelines given on procedures, along with the agency, state, and ORR regulatory requirements. In collaboration with the case management team, these services will be provided on an intensive, short-term basis and will require extensive knowledge of the policies of the Office of Refugee Resettlement (ORR). Please reference the ORR Guide: Children Entering the United States Unaccompanied ). This position is hybrid based but requires regular travel to CHRIS 180 offices and residential facility locations.
