    Description

    FOUNDATION AUTOMOTIVE is seeking a highly motivated Receptionist at Foundation Chevy to oversee our dealership. The Receptionist position answers a multi-line telephone system and greets visitors in a timely, pleasant and professional manner. The Receptionist is responsible for ensuring guest experience at the first point of contact and for directing customers and vendors to the appropriate dealership representative or resource.

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities

    • Arrive punctually and inform the supervisor immediately of any planned or unplanned absences.
    • Greet visitors, determine their needs, and contact the appropriate department for visitor escort.
    • Operate a multi-line phone including answering all incoming calls in a prompt, polite, professional manner, transferring calls to the appropriate person or department quickly, or operating the dealership paging system, calling individuals to the phone.
    • Minimize the time callers are on hold and check back with them frequently to ensure they wish to continue holding.
    • Take detailed messages when a call cannot be completed; including the caller's name, telephone number, time of call, and the information requested, and delivers to the appropriate party in a timely manner.
    • Develop knowledge of basic dealership information in order to respond to callers who have general inquires
    • Notify appropriate personnel of any problems with the phone system.
    • Scanning Documents as needed; calling customers to pick-up license plates
    • Oversee the visitor sign-in and security process.
    • Maintain conference room reservation schedule.
    • Adhere to a consistent and reliable work schedule.
    • Demonstrate ethical business practices and integrity in all interactions to uphold the Foundation Automotive brand.
    • Effectively perform duties and responsibilities in a safe manner.
    • Other duties as assigned.

    Qualifications

    • Valid Driver's License and acceptable driving record
    • Bilingual preferred
    • High school diploma or equivalent required
    • Successful completion of pre-employment screening
    • Authorization to work in the USA
