As a Psychiatrist at Reliatus Behavioral Health, you will play a crucial role in delivering comprehensive psychiatric care to our clients.

You will work within a multidisciplinary team, including therapists, social workers, and other mental health professionals, to provide a holistic approach to mental health treatment.

Essential duties include conducting comprehensive psychiatric assessments/evaluations and mental status examinations (MSEs) of child/adolescent patients, providing multi-axial diagnoses according to the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders (DSM) approved by the American Psychiatric Association; developing and implementing individualized mental health treatment planning for assigned child/adolescent patients; providing competent psychotropic medication treatment and other psychiatric treatments to meet the needs of assigned child/adolescent patients; Your expertise will contribute to improving the well-being of individuals facing a wide range of mental health challenges.

The position is for a full time, employed child/adolescent staff psychiatrist. Call by telephone
The setting and load is Child/Adolescent case load, In-Patient; PHP settings. Assess and screen patients by conducting psychiatric evaluations, including interviews, medical histories, physical exams, observations, and psychological testing
Analyze data and results of assessments to diagnose patients
Current and valid board certification in psychiatry
Medical degree from an accredited medical school and completion of an approved psychiatric residency
Licensed to practice medicine in Illinois
Current DEA registration
Strong working knowledge of general psychiatric principles and practices
