Summary

We are seeking a talented and motivated Entry-Level Electrical Engineer to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in supporting the design and testing of RF (Radio Frequency) systems and SATCOM for defense applications. This is an exciting opportunity for a recent graduate or early-career professional looking to launch their career in the defense industry with a focus on RF technology.

Bascom Hunter provides solutions to the Department of Defense (DoD) and Aerospace markets across various disciplines. Our BH Tech division currently provides products and services across four product lines: RF Systems, RF Components, Neuromorphic Processors and Photonics.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in the design and development of RF systems and SATCOM solutions for defense applications.
• Conduct analysis and simulations to optimize system performance, including frequency response, noise figure, and power consumption.
• Participate in the testing and evaluation of RF components and systems to ensure compliance with specifications and requirements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including hardware, software, and systems engineering, to integrate RF systems into larger defense systems.
• Support troubleshooting efforts and provide technical assistance during system integration and testing phases.
• Document design specifications, test procedures, and results in accordance with company standards and industry best practices.
• Stay current with emerging technologies and industry trends related to RF systems and SATCOM to contribute to ongoing innovation and improvement initiatives.

Requirements:

1. Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field
2. US Citizen with the ability to maintain a DoD security clearance
3. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
4. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present technical information clearly and concisely.
