Consecutive Interpretation Subject Matter Experts

JTG is seeking Consecutive Interpretation (CI) Subject Matter Experts to conduct CI Workshops in various languages, including German, Italian, Portuguese, and Urdu.

About the Role

Develop and deliver presentations for CI workshops.
Foster basic skills relevant to performing CI, such as listening, memory, and note-taking skills.
Participate in hands-on sessions, guiding students through practice exercises.

Requirements

U.S. citizenship required.
Native or near-native proficiency in English.
Excellent presentation skills.
Comfortable working with foreign language materials.
A minimum of 5 years' experience interpreting in the target language.
Experience teaching foreign languages to adults.
Experience developing instructional materials.
Experience using technology in the classroom.
Familiarity with the Interagency Language Roundtable (ILR) Skill Level Description.
Bachelor's degree in a related field; Master's degree preferred.
