    The Democratic Attorneys General Association (DAGA) is hiring a Deputy Director for Digital Fundraising to manage and expand the committee's digital fundraising program.

    The Deputy Director for Digital Fundraising will report to the Development Director and work with a digital fundraising firm to execute the committee's digital fundraising program and strategic plan.

    The Deputy Director for Digital Fundraising will also collaborate with the digital content team on digital fundraising messaging.


    Compensation Package:

    Primary Responsibilities:
    Manage, execute, and enhance DAGA's digital fundraising program, which includes email, online advertising, SMS, and other emerging mediumsManage DAGA's relationship with a digital fundraising firm for the execution of the program and meeting monthly, annual, and long-term strategic goals, monitoring a content calendar, providing email topics, writing supplemental emails, voicing DAGA's perspective in weekly meetings, and tracking DAGA's performance in relation to firm projectionsCollaborate with a digital fundraising firm to develop innovative donor acquisition campaigns across channels like Facebook, X (Twitter), Instagram, and fixed cost sources that drive long-term fundraising success and engagementWrite compelling copy for fundraising emails, online advertising, and fundraising SMS programConduct monthly cost assessments to provide context to digital fundraising outcomes and to inform future strategic decisions and audience buildingDrive innovation, brainstorm, test ideas, and help build out a process to optimize the scope of the digital program on an on-going basisMonitor digital fundraising communications from Democratic Attorneys General, Democratic candidates, Republican AGs, Republican candidates, sister Democratic political committees, and select advocacy groups, including strategic partnersOrganize and coordinate digital fundraising engagement with Attorney General campaigns and partner organizations to further grow online audience and awareness of DAGA and Democratic AGsProduce, review, and send email copy using our CRM (NGP), ensuring each email being sent is accurate and segmented correctlyProvide regular analytics report for the Development Director and Executive leadership, and offer analysis and insights on the program's results and progress toward long-term strategic goalsSupport other special projects, assignments, and tasks in collaboration with DAGA leadership and other DAGA departmentsQualifications:At least five years of digital fundraising experience as a part of a successful, large-scale, online fundraising operation(s) for Democratic political campaigns, Democratic political committees, or like-minded advocacy organizations and firmsExperience with creating and preparing budgets, projections, setting fundraising goals, and the necessary acquisition plans to grow a comprehensive digital fundraising program is a strong preferenceUnderstanding of the digital fundraising landscape, best practices, and emerging trendsExperience writing email copy for a high-volume program, including writing rapid response messagesExperience producing emails, including segmenting and testing, using a CRM such as NGPExperience creating and placing targeted advertisements with Facebook, X (Twitter), Instagram and other platformsWorking knowledge of quantitative and qualitative analytics for social media, email, and website performance as well as paid social media adsStrong organizational skills, attention to detail, track record of consistent delivery to exacting standardsDemonstrable written and oral communications skillsPositive attitude, and a demonstrated capability to be flexible, adjust to changing priorities, and operate effectively in a fluid and fast-paced environmentProject management skills that include the effective execution of multiple tasks through multiple channels concurrently, allocating and optimizing resources, and managing timelinesCommitment to DAGA's mission and willingness to learn about the integral, but usually less well-known, role that AGs play as the People's Lawyers

    DAGA's office offers a hybrid work schedule with operating hours between 9 AM - 6 PM Eastern, but extended and nontraditional work hours are required.
