    The Receptionist maintains front desk operations and operates the switchboard, maintaining professionalism at all times.

    Duties and Responsibilities:
    • Greets vendors, customers, job applicants and other visitors and arranges for transportation services when needed.
    • Operates multi-line switchboard to route incoming calls and place outgoing calls.
    • Answers incoming telephone calls, determines purpose of callers, and forwards calls to appropriate personnel or department.
    • Receives packages and courier deliveries, logging items, and notifying recipients for pickup.
    • Performs clerical duties as needed, such as filing, photocopying, and collating.
    • Assists in managing access to building, suite and parking garage.
    • Assists in ordering supplies.
    • Assists with monthly reporting and other administrative duties.
    • Assists with other projects as needed.
    • Performs other duties as assigned.
    Education/Experience:

    High school diploma or general education degree (G.E.D.). Two to four years related experience operating a multi-line switchboard in a corporate environment is preferred.

    Computer Skills:

    To perform this job successfully, an individual should have basic skills in Microsoft Access, and intermediate skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and internet navigation/research.
