- Oversee the daily operations of the ICU, ensuring efficient and effective patient care.
- Lead, mentor, and support a team of ICU nurses, physicians, and other healthcare professionals.
- Develop and implement policies, procedures, and protocols to enhance patient care and safety.
- Collaborate with hospital leadership and other departments to improve patient outcomes.
- Monitor and evaluate patient care practices, making necessary adjustments to maintain high standards.
- Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and accreditation standards.
- Manage the ICU budget, including staffing, equipment, and supplies.
- Facilitate professional development and continuing education opportunities for ICU staff.
- Promote a culture of safety, quality, and patient-centered care.
- Current RN license and/or relevant advanced practice certification.
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) required; Master's degree in Nursing or Healthcare Administration preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of critical care nursing experience, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
- Strong knowledge of ICU protocols, procedures, and best practices.
