    We offer sign on BONUS for full-time hired staff of $5000.00 Bayview Nursing and Rehab Center is looking for a Wound Care Coordinator (Tx Nurse RN/LPN). Candidate is responsible for providing primary skin care to residents under the medical direction and supervision of the residents' attending physicians, the Director of Nursing Services, or the Medical Director of the facility, with an emphasis on treatment and therapy of skin disorders. The Tx Nurse will also assist in modifying the treatment regimen to meet the physical and psychosocial needs of the in accordance with established medical practices and the requirements of this state and the policies and goals of this facility.

    The person holding this position is delegated the administrative authority, responsibility, and accountability necessary for carrying out your assigned duties in accordance with current existing federal and state regulations and established facility policy and procedures.

    ESSENTIAL PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

    Ability to lift fifty (50) pounds. Moving, lifting or transferring of patients may involve lifting of up to 100 pounds

    Ability to exert maximum muscle force to lift, push, pull or carry patient

    Ability to use abdominal and lower back muscles over time without fatigue

    Ability to stand for extended periods

    Ability to bend, stoop, stretch, twist, sit, and reach

    Fine motor skills

    Visual acuity

    Skills

    • At least 1 (one) year experience as an RN/LPN
    • Experience with LTC is a plus
    • Ability to undertake a variety of diverse care tasks and work in a multidisciplinary team
    • Familiarity with hospital health, safety and sanitation standards and procedures
    • Understanding of confidentiality obligations and nursing best practices
    • Excellent knowledge of medical and hospital terminology
    • Good knowledge of MS Office and data entry
    • Perfect physical condition and stamina
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
    • Compassionate and able to handle stress
    • Successful completion of RN/LPN license program is a must
