    Description
    We're a local, organic family farm that needs help at the farmers' market. We're well-established and have a wide product line using our local produce, grains, and other organic ingredients.

    In addition to selling produce we sell delicious, organic - mostly vegan foods - at farmers' markets in Portland and Vancouver.

    We're looking for a positive, energetic, honest person to run our stand on Wednesday afternoons in Southeast Portland.

    You will be the face of our farm to our loyal customers and to folks visiting the market for the first time, representing the delicious healthy food we lovingly grow and make.


    The ideal candidate will find strong resonance - and a desire to be associated with - organic foods, local foods, healthy foods.

    It would be fantastic if you had farmers' market experience. Please be able to be able to lift up to 50 lbs. The right person should be organized, cheerful, respectful, dependable, honest. You would meet us at the market, where we would help you set up.

    You will run the stand during the market, and we will return at the end to help you break down.


    It would be great if you have some knowledge of cooking to give customers ideas of how to use our products.

    It would also be a plus if you had an interest in nutrition, probiotics, organic, and herbal remedies.

    The ideal candidate should enjoy and be able to handle a sometimes busy bustling and social environment as well as slow periods.

    We hope you would have an interest in being part of the social movement that is local, organic agriculture.


    Proficiencies:
    Customer service

    Being on time

    Comfort with being outdoors during less than ideal weather (bring layers)

    Physically fit enough to unload and load and move our products and display around in a timely fashion

    Dependable

    Artistic, aesthetic in display of vegetables

    Patience in dealing with public

    Making change
