    OverviewIDG is searching for a Director, Consolidation and Reporting. This is an exciting opportunity to join the Corporate Compliance Team in our Needham, MA office.

    Reporting to the Senior Director of Technical Accounting and Reporting, and working closely with the team, this position will be a key member for the global transformation of internal and external reporting capabilities.

    The Director will be instrumental in leading the organization to be best in class for all reporting and compliance matters.

    This role is based on our Needham MA location with a hybrid work schedule to come into the office 1-2 days per week.

    ResponsibilitiesResponsible for review and preparation of monthly financial statements and internal reporting packages for the Corporate Controller and CFOEnsures that all reporting and documentation complies with professional standards under US GAAP and the Companys regulators Confirms that all global entries, transactions and accounts are accurately and properly consolidated in the Companys financial statements, including the balance sheets, income statements, cash flows and shareholders equityAdvises management of trends and changes in reporting requirements and recommends best approach for implementing necessary changes Collaborates with the Controllership team on various initiatives to transform our monthly close process and to further enhance our global policies and procedures Key contributor and facilitator in the companys goal to be public company ready (i.e., SEC compliant for reporting and filing of financial information)Instrumental in facilitation of the Companys annual external audit as well as ensuring timely and compliant completion of local statutory auditsManages a small reporting teamWorks with regional finance teams to align accounting policies, processes and procedures for key areas globallyCoordinates with tax and international controllers on various global and statutory reporting requirementsSupports business with questions and ad hoc reporting requestsParticipates in special projects as required (e.g., global ERP implementation, OneStream rollout, M&A integration)QualificationsBachelors and/or masters degree in AccountingAt least 10 years of public accounting and/or global consolidation/reporting experience in an international publicly traded companyActive CPA license is requiredKnowledge of Microsoft Dynamics 365 and OneStream is a plusMust be organized and detail-orientedSelf-motivated and ability to multi-taskEffective at pacing teams to meet deadlines, while also supporting accuracy and attention to detailsAbility to collaborate with multiple departments and work collaboratively as one teamExcellent written and verbal communications skills for communicating issues to leadershipPrevious managment experience Critical thinking, analytical and problem-solving skillsProficiency with Excel and other Microsoft Office applicationsIDG is an equal-opportunity employer.

    The anticipated total annual compensation, depending on location and experience, is between $175,000 and $200,000 and is inclusive of base salary and variable compensation (if applicable).
