    Job DescriptionWork Schedule:
    This is a full time, 1.0 FTE position. Shifts will be scheduled Monday
    • Friday between the hours of 8:00 AM 5:00 PM CST.
    Hours may vary based on the operational needs of the department.

    • Pediatrics to: Lead overall planning and daily supervision of all operational aspects and activities for Genetic Counseling services.
    Address administrative and management issues to optimize efficiency and team morale. Partner with clinic management and medical leadership at the historic UW Waisman Center.

    Education:
    Minimum - Bachelor's degree in Health Care Administration or Business Administration
    Preferred- Master's degree in Genetic Counseling

    Work Experience:
    Minimum
    • Six (6) years relevant health care experience Preferred
    • Six (6) years relevant health care experience in an academic medical centerLicenses and Certifications:Minimum
    • Licensed as a Genetic Counselor in the state of Wisconsin.

    Preferred
    • National certification in genetic counseling through ABGC.
