    CHEMICAL PROCESS ENGINEER

    Dynomax, Inc is a family owned company in Wheeling, IL that designs, manufactures, and develops high-precision machined components, sub-assemblies, and electrical components for the aerospace and defense industries. We are seeking an experienced Chemical Process Engineer to support our Metal Finishing/Plating Department.

    Chemical Process Engineer Job Responsibilities

    The Chemical Process Engineer will serve as technical resource of the metal finishing department providing support and interaction to both customer and vendors both on and off-site as required.

    • Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, schematics, and computer-generated reports
    • Read and interpret customer and industry specifications
    • Develop, implement and help lead processes which increase or improve upon Dynomax's capabilities
    • Perform gap analysis of in-house capability to customer or industry requirements or new business needs
    • Research and support the execution of capital equipment implementations
    • Train and act as resource for all employees on new and revised processes and methods as required
    • Collaborate with engineers and other personnel to implement operating procedures, resolve system malfunctions, and provide technical information.
    • Utilize problem solving skills commensurate to an engineering position
    • Perform root-cause analysis and develop solutions
    • Perform manufacturing analysis and technical and administrative support for chemical finishing department

    Chemical Process Engineer Job Requirements

    • U.S Citizen
    • 5+ years of experience in a Process Engineering role in a plating environment (gold, EN)
    • BS Degree in Chemical Engineering or related field

    Our ideal Chemical Process Engineer will also have experience in the following:

    • Aerospace OEM specifications
    • Epicor ERP System
    • Quality system requirements as per Nadcap and/or AS9100
    • Special processes and/or metal finishing
