This role is responsible for Onboarding, Developing, Coaching, Mentoring and Performance Management of all drivers and helpers.Responsibilities
- Onboarding
- Ensuring new frontline employees have tools instruction and feedback for successful daily duties
- Meet with new frontline employees daily to ensure consistent communication and support of onboarding
- DevelopingProvide timely and consistent touchpoints with frontline employeesRegular review of best practices to enhance daily performanceFocus on understanding and progress of frontline employee career goals
- MentoringLead by example to ensure safety practices are paramount with each employeeandTeaching developing an understanding of the WM Way
- Performance ManagementConducts Root Cause Investigations for all injuries incidents ensuring consistent discipline retrainingDocuments maintains records required by regulatory agencies such as the Department of TransportationReviews audits documentation related to route operations daily e.g. DVIRs driver time attendance open tickets following up where appropriateVisits customers customer sites evaluate resolve safety issues seeking service alternatives where appropriate
