    System Job Title:
    VP Revenue Management

    Specific Job Summary

    This position is responsible for the oversight and management of the Revenue Management and Purchase Space Acquisition teams within the Inventory Revenue Management department.

    It is responsible for maximizing departmental resources to achieve budgeted goals and ensure that departmental responsibilities are being met on an ongoing basis.

    This VP identifies industry trends and consumer behaviors to anticipate future consumer rental demands balanced against Interval's membership and third-party inventory distribution partners.

    It assists the executive team in annual budget forecasting and monthly reforecasting and is responsible for identifying space acquisition opportunities and financial modeling of these opportunities to determine viability/profitability.

    The position is responsible for achieving annual rental revenue targets of approximately $60mm and appropriate use and expenditure of the ~$20mm annual purchase space expense budget to supplement Exchange, Getaway & certificate fulfillment inventory.


    In addition to the above, cross-department and cross segment/related companies collaboration and strong client relationship building are keys to success in this role.

    Specific Expected Contributions
    Strategic/ Partnerships

    Develops and communicates changes in pricing strategies and tactics on an ongoing basis to seize opportunities and overcome challenges resulting from emerging consumer trends, uptake rates, changes in demand, etc.

    Identifies opportunities and implements changes in processes to gain greater efficiencies and/or enhance output.
    Assists senior management in developing new products and enhancements to existing products & programs.
    Collaborates closely with Consumer Marketing team to design and manage promotional pricing and special offers.

    Collaborates closely with Resort Sales & Service to enhance client relationships and develop viable inventory utilization/revenue targets for new & existing clients as part of affiliation terms.

    Collaborates closely with Finance team to identify changes in original inventory/budget targets in a timely manner to update expected results (over and above "routine" reforecasting exercise stated below in "Reporting").

    Assists executive team in forecasting rental rate growth targets for budget and achieving same.
    Assists executive team with annual budget preparation for both rental revenue and purchase space acquisition expenses.

    Revenue Management

    Responsible for building and leading a strong revenue management team that oversees rental pricing for Interval members and third-party distribution partners to achieve annual budget targets.

    Develops and manages processes executed by their team to monitor and analyze supply and demand curves in relation to uptake rates and achieved rate to identify and implement pricing changes to maximize revenue opportunities.

    Responsible for building and maintaining reporting databases used by the revenue management team to support their daily, weekly and monthly pricing activities.

    Responsible for monetizing Hotel Exchange ("HEX") and Cruise Exchange ("CEX") relinquishment inventory to offset (and obtain a margin) against Interval's expense of securing hotel accommodations or cruise inventory on behalf of our members using these programs.

    Space Acquisition

    Responsible for building and leading a strong rental inventory acquisition team that oversees the expenditure of Interval's purchase space acquisition funds (~$20mm, annually) and deploying these funds in a manner that supplements and enhances Interval's rental offerings with a viable ROI.

    Develops and manages processes to identify areas markets and time periods of desired inventory to supplement rental program offerings and communicating same to Resort Sales & Service team.

    Rental Distribution Management
    ~ Responsible for rental inventory distribution channel management across Interval's membership programs (Getaways, ShortStay Getaways, certificate programs) and third-party distribution partners to achieve optimal utilization and maximize revenues, as determined not only by achieved rental rates but also within the context of membership retention and the additional revenue derived from ancillary product sales accompanying the rental purchases.

    Reporting

    Responsible for annual and monthly reporting provided to Finance & Accounting, in line with SOX requirements, for both rentals and purchase space line items.

    Responsible for monthly reforecasting of future rental & space acquisition budget targets.
    Responsible for tracking and reporting to support the above HEX & CEX monetization activities.
    Responsible for select SOX key control functions related to space acquisition functions.
    Candidate Profile
    Education

    Four-year college degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Master of Business Administration preferred or equivalent work experience in Revenue Management.

    Experience
    Proven leader with 1O or more years' successful management and leadership experience in Revenue Management.
