We are seeking an Assistant Restaurant Manager to ensure all daily activities run smoothly and efficiently.

The Assistant Restaurant Manager's responsibilities include supervising Front of House restaurant staff performance, assisting with vendor deliveries, coordinating server sections, reservations, and seating, and delivering a positive dining experience for our guests.

To be successful in this role, you should be familiar with restaurant operations and understand what makes great customer service.

You should also be available to work within opening hours, including weekends and holidays. The ideal candidate will be prompt, organized, energetic, with a can-do positive attitude.

Daily Responsibilities Opening & Closing Setup:

Including, but not limited to, counting the register, checking reservations and arranging seating for any big parties, ensuring front of house staff arrives on time and in uniform and attends to their side work.

Closing the restaurant at night includes confirming all stations are broken down properly, pulling reporting, and closing out staff.


Connect w/Guests:
Touching tables to ensure guest satisfaction and remedying any complaints or issues. Gathering feedback on service and menu, and communicating to upper management.


Handling Vendor Deliveries:
Checking invoices, stocking shelves, writing and recording checks, etc


Supporting FOH Staff:

Overseeing front-of-house staff and supporting them in their daily operations, including but not limited to, troubleshooting issues on POS, addressing difficult guests, helping them refill drinks or take orders when they're overwhelmed, bussing tables, seating guests, taking calls, confirming reservations.

Address employee concerns with upper management. Train and encourage new employees. Help create and foster a respectful and inclusive team environment.


Maintaining the FOH:
Ensuring the FOH is always pristine and presentable to guests. Tables should be bussed immediately and ready for the next turn.


Communication between FOH & BOH:
Communicate BOH changes/updates to menu with FOH and communicate customer feedback with BOH


Requirements & Skills:
Work experience as an Assistant Restaurant Manager or similar role in the hospitality industry Familiarity with restaurant management software, like OpenTable, DoorDash and POS Systems Good math and reporting skills Customer service attitude Communication and team management abilities Availability to work within opening hours (e.g. evenings, holidays, weekends)

High school diploma; additional certification in hospitality is a plus Must be able to lift 20-25 lbs Must be able to comfortably stand/walk around for long periods of time Why You'll Love Us:
