    Position Summary:

    Under the direct supervision of the Radiology Services Director and general supervision of the Radiology Supervisor and according to established policies and procedures, performs diagnostic Nuclear Medicine examinations and procedures. Work is of a confidential nature.


    Position Summary:

    Prepares and administers radiopharmaceuticals as well as other medications to patients and performs the diagnostic study per physician orders.

    Education -

    - Associate's degree with CNMT certification from an accredited nuclear medicine technology program. Formal education programs in nuclear medicine technology or a related healthcare field leading to a CNMT certificate with an associate's degree, or a bachelor's degree, or CNMT registry eligible with completion of a formal training program in Nuclear Medicine Technology.
    - Registry eligible employees must attain registry status within first 12 months of employment.

    Certifications and Licenses -

    Radiology License with Nuclear Medicine focus/ ARRT Certification or CNMT -required

    Basic Life Support (BCLS) - required
