    Description

    Job Title:

    Process EngineerSummary:The Process Engineer has overall accountability for managing the site process and productivity details to optimize efficiency and product cost, quality, capacity utilization, and operability of production processes.

    This position is also accountable for CAPEX projects.


    Responsibilities Include:


    Serves as the process expert for all manufacturing processes on-site and leads in the troubleshooting of chemistry, technology, and quality-related issues, interfacing with global teams as necessaryEstablishes/executes/maintains gap analysis of continuous improvement processesWorks with various functions to identify and transfer processes/products into the site to balance global capacity utilizationEnsures compliance with standards for EHS, cost control, waste reduction, qualityProvides effective leadership and execution tools to deliver both VCP (cost reduction/productivity) and capital projectsRecommends modifications or additions that will address projects for operational improvementsIdentifies process safety reactivity evaluations, process training, and operating proceduresDirects activities so that approved products and projects are introduced on timeEnsures new production processes are implemented in compliance with environmental and process safety regulations and Momentive policies and standardsEnsures proper documentation for the site (e.g.

    permits on file, MOC process)Supports significant processing issues and incidents where chemical formulations are involvedCommunicate to the site and Senior Leadership team as requiredCoordinates change management activities at the siteProvides critical support to the site leadership in the cultural journeys of EHS, Quality, Customer Focus, and Continuous ImprovementEmbraces continuous improvement philosophies and tools to engage employeesMaintains excellent supportPerforms additional job duties, as assignedDrives visual operation performance metrics to the shop floor.

    While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit, stand, bend, stoop, climb, twist, turn, grasp, and move about the facility.

    Walking, walking on irregular surfaces, and balancing will be required. Hearing, sight to include depth perception and color vision, and the ability to speak clearly will be required. Occasional lifting and moving up to 50 lbs.

    and the ability to comply with PPE requirements (ability to pass a fit-test and wear a respirator is required for certain positions/locations).The environment for this position is a Manufacturing setting, with exposure to outside weather conditions and loud noise.

    Qualifications:
    The following are required for the roleBachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering or Process Engineering3+ years experience in process engineeringStrong change management skills and ability to influenceThe following are preferred for the role:Background in the manufacturing industry and multi-national companySix Sigma/LEAN certificationPrevious team leader experience in a chemical process environmentProficiency in SAPExperience in Maintenance ExcellenceControls Engineering-HMI/PLC design and programming#LI-NG1

    What We Offer:

    Base Pay Range:
    $88, $129,250.00The actual salary offered is determined by factors including but not limited to education, experience, skill sets, and geography. Local geographic pay differentials may not be reflected in the above pay range and will be discussed with you by a member of the HR team when applicable.
