    We are hiring a Substance Use Disorder Treatment Supervisor to join our Shoreline team. As a Substance Use Disorder Treatment Supervisor, you'll supervise clinical staff, ensuring the delivery of exceptional services to individuals in need. You'll play a vital role in maintaining compliance with industry standards, providing training, participating in team meetings, and fostering excellence in clinical service delivery. The hours for this role are Monday - Friday. 6:00 am- 2:00 pm or Monday - Friday 7:00 am- 3:30 pm. The pay range for this position is $76,600 to $81,300 annually, depending on experience.

    Requirements:
    • Ensures program compliance with CARF standards, federal, state, and local laws, regulations, contracts, and standards.
    • Ensures that the Program Manager is informed in a timely manner of any information affecting the department's ability to perform its stated purpose.
    • Participates in workforce activities:
    • New Hires: Interviewing, selecting, hiring, and training of all new employees as required by internal training plan.
    • Current Staff: Provides training, identifies and provides individual training needs, monitors performance, provides regular performance feedback including required performance evaluations, and addresses performance issues/concerns (up to termination).

    Provides Personnel Supervision to include:

    • Enhancing counselor proficiencies using a competency-based model that provides a framework for understanding, learning, and implementing the Knowledge, Skills, and Attitudes of Professional Practice in all clinical areas.
    • Directly supervising assigned staff including interns and provides regular, documented individual supervision in accordance with internal policies and procedures aligned with WAC and CARF requirements.
    • Enforcing staffing schedules to ensure coverage of services as required by agency treatment guidelines and office hours. Monitors staff work schedules and use of paid time off, signs-off on bi-monthly time sheets.
    • Monitor and complete signoffs for designated staff and monitors WAC compliance at the micro (individual) level. Assures patient records comply with THS clinical manuals and consistent with applicable WAC (Washington Administrative Code), RCW's (Revised Code of Washington), and CARF standards.
    • Providing the first line of response for any disciplinary actions, as well as provide support for "lowest level" resolution of staff complaints or grievances.

    Provides Clinical Oversight and Training to include:

    • Screen treatment intakes and assigns primary counselor, ensuring all participants are appropriately placed or referred to appropriate treatment provider (internal or external). Assigns referrals to designated staff and monitors counselor panels.
    • Ensuring quality, complete, accurate, and timely documentation of delivered services are maintained.
    • Maintaining agency productivity standards regarding billable hours and number of participants served.
    • Monitoring counselor daily scheduling and productivity, conducting analysis and providing coaching to guide counselors to achieve a productive, well organized work experience.
    • Monitoring documentation of clinical work to assure requirements for reporting to funding and referral sources are met.
    • Providing training to all counselors in all required clinical and administrative areas, inclusive of internal policies and procedures and confidentiality laws.
    • Participates in and completes all assigned compliance activities, such as quarterly chart reviews.
    • Participates in all required meetings, trainings, supervisions, and consultations. Conducts weekly case staffing for assigned supervisees.
    • In conjunction with the clinical supervisory team, monitors cross-referrals to other programs/departments, coordinates treatment services, schedules and monitors staffing of co-occurring cases, and provides cross-training to clinical staff as needed.
    • Responsible for identifying and addressing issues and seeking solutions that enhance the internal operations of the department, based upon established policies and procedures.
    • Facilitates clinical meetings and attends Branch Administrative meetings.
    • Provides individual counseling to patients and facilitates/co-facilitates treatment groups as needed.
    • Participates as part of multi-disciplinary team in admission, treatment, and discharge decisions. Reviews each discharge.
    • Collaborates and communicates effectively and professionally with all team members, including those in other departments.
    • Delivers community presentations, as assigned.
    • Serves on THS committees, as assigned.
    • Other duties as assigned.

    Minimum Requirements:

    • Bachelor's degree in addiction studies or social sciences degree, minimum.
    • Washington State Substance Use Disorder Professional license required and must be an approved substance use disorder supervisor per WAC
    • At least five years of clinical experience as a substance use disorder professional.
    • At least two years of SUD supervisory experience required in an outpatient setting.
    • Proficient computer skills and experience working with an electronic health record system required.
