Job summary
MRC Global serves the oil and gas industry across the upstream midstream and downstream sectors as well as the chemical and gas distribution market sectors worldwide. This is a remote opportunity The Sales & Service Representative is responsible for delivering business-to-business customer service throughout the order process of pipe valves and fitting products PVF It is critical in maximizing customer value while supporting MRC Globals strategies for safety gross margin growth and financialoperational performance Respond to customer quote requests by sourcing products from inventory or external suppliers Build quotes that create customer value and profitability for MRC Global Identify pursue sales opportunities to support overall growth Engage proactively with customers using product knowledge to recommend solutions Use MRC Global systemssoftware for quotes order processing vendor POs related tasks Adhere to customer contract requirements pricing freight delivery KPIs Monitor shippingdelivery status communicate updates to customers Resolve customer concerns using a problem-solving approach Ensure quoted products comply with approved manufacturer lists AML or specifications Reference customer guides consult internalexternal resources enhance service Handle advanced customer needs external labor RMAs PO changes special invoicing Communicate professionally with customers suppliers coworkers One year experience in a job like this or recent completion of post-secondary education preferably in industrial sales fields Proficient computer software use Strong communication skills Detailoriented sense urgency Frequent drivingtraveling Regular interaction others Primarily deskcomputer-based work Ability sitstand extended periods Reasonable accommodation may be made individuals perform essential functions Qualified applicants will receive consideration employment without regard race color religion sex national origin sexual orientation gender identity disability protected veteran status California Employee Data Collection Notice
