Let's work togetherRelativity (Chicago, IL) seeks a Senior Software Engineer to leverage knowledge of Java or C#, SQL, JavaScript, CSS, and AJAX to design and build our web-based litigation support platform.
Specific responsibilities include:
working on a scalable and dynamic web system which supports integration with multiple search engines, clustering technologies, and client component interaction through web services; building our core product offering, Relativity; actively participating in our SCRUM process; improving application system performance; troubleshooting issues by fixing defects and responding to client specific problems; handling technical support calls.
Periodic travel to Chicago, IL office required for planning sessions and team activities. Option to work remotely.
Position requires a Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science or a closely related engineering degree, plus 5 years of experience in the job offered, or as a Programmer Analyst, Java or C# Applications Developer, or similar position using Java or C# and Relational Database technologies.
In the alternative, must have a Master's degree, or foreign equivalent, in Computer Science, or a closely related engineering degree, plus 3 years of experience in the job offered, or as a Programmer Analyst, Java or C# Applications Developer, or similar position using Java or C# and Relational Database technologies.
Specific experience must include:
unit testing; Agile development methodology; JavaScript; CSS; AJAX; and working as a team member in collaborative environment. Periodic travel to Chicago, IL office required for planning sessions and team activities. Option to work remotely. Full time position.
