    Job Summary:
    The Medical Assistant supports the healthcare team by performing a variety of clinical and administrative tasks. This role requires experience in a front office setting, including scheduling, and proficiency in electronic health record systems. The Medical Assistant will contribute to efficient patient care and smooth operation of the infusion center.

    Fullerton, California, United States


    Responsibilities:

    • Answer unit phone and directs calls accordingly.
    • Perform data entry into electronic medical database systems.
    • Document patient care and related duties appropriately.
    • Perform selected patient registration activities.
    • Coordinate equipment/supply needs.
    • Notify appropriate department of equipment malfunction.
    • Perform any other related duties (e.g., clerical, technical duties) as assigned.

    Required Skills & Certifications:

    • 1 year of Front Office Medical Assistant or Scheduling Experience
    • High school diploma or GED equivalent

    Preferred Skills & Certifications:

    • 1 year of Epic EHR experience

    Special Considerations:

    • Scheduling requests due to outside employment will not be considered.

    Scheduling:

    • Monday through Friday, 8hour shifts
    • Start time: 0800
    • No weekends or holidays
    • No call required
