- Navigate and program all Allen Bradley Software Platforms (RS Logix 5, RS Logix 500, RS Logix 5000, Studio 5000, Factory Talk View ME).
- Navigate PLC Networks (DH Plus/Ethernet).
- Set IP Addressing.
- Update firmware versions.
- Program Allen Bradley and ABB Variable Frequency Drives, managed network switches (Stratix), Process Control Devices.
- Improve the reliability and efficiency of production processes.
- Train production technicians, maintenance technicians and peers.
- Document training and train on all shifts.
- Must have a minimum of 3-5 years satisfactory experience in industrial-type PLC programming or equivalent amount of technical schooling and experience.
- Can read and interpret electrical schematics.
- Must have experience with 24 VDC through 480 VAC power and control systems.
- Can safely use test equipment for troubleshooting.
- Must have experience with 4-20 ma instrument circuits.
- Must have programming and troubleshooting knowledge of Allen Bradley programmable controllers.
- Must understand packaging and industrial automation processes.

Shift: This role is 3rd Shift, 11:00 PM-7:30 AMHourly Rate: $37.00 an hour + $.50 shift differentialThe Controls Technician role at Conagra is responsible for the day to day troubleshooting and preventative care of the facilities electrical and mechanical equipment and devices. The technician will design and manage projects, upgrade electrical systems and controls and lead training in the electrical department. This position is onsite in St. Elmo, Illinois and reports to the Maintenance Manager. Enhanced reliability is achieved through on time completion, and strict adherence to continuous improvement philosophies and methods. Brands made at our facility include Mrs. Butterworth's, Log Cabin, Wish-Bone and Open Pit.
