    Join a Caring Local Company - We're Hiring

    Caring Transitions delivers professional and courteous services to help seniors and families relocate, downsize, house cleanouts, online auction, estate sales, and more In this role, you are part of a team providing excellent customer service to Caring Transition customers in Durham, NC and the surrounding areas. Within a customer's house, you would be responsible for sorting, organizing, taking photos for online auctions, boxing items for pick up and shipping, and other similar activities. Paid training provided.

    **Bonus if you have estate sales/packing/sorting/organizing/antique experience We want to talk to you

    Job description (including, but not limited to):

    • Moving supplies/moving boxes within the client's home
    • Lifting of boxes/decor and some furniture within the home and to new location
    • Sort, organize and pack household goods to be moved or sold
    • Safely pack and unpack goods
    • Disposal of unwanted items for donation or removal
    • Taking pictures of items for online auction
    • Delivery and shipping of items purchased through online auction
    • Interacting with clients, their families, and other coworkers
    • And more, no 2 days are alike

    Job Requirements (including, but not limited to):

    • Must be able to lift 30#, stand for 4-6 hours, bend over, go up and down ladder
    • Must have a valid drivers license and reliable source of transportation
    • Work in hot/cold settings from time to time, and dirty/dusty situations
    • Access to a computer for scheduling, time-keeping & project management apps
    • Excellent customer service skills
    • Must be detailed oriented and good with organizational skills

    Availability and hours:

    • Include your availability when applying.
    • Part-time hours--no two days or weeks are the same with no guarantee of hours.
