    We are looking for an experienced Senior Project Engineer for our Structure Division who isdriven, enthusiastic and who wants to establish him or herselfwith a stable and growing company.

    This position plans, monitors, and supervises on-site construction engineering activities for a particular project, maintaining liaison with owner regarding project progress and changes; insures project engineering activities comply with company and owner requirements, providing interpretation of design and application of construction methods.

    Competitivecandidates will have experience on structures projects.
    Essential FunctionsAnalyze andprice out change orders.
    Assist with the management of job controls to ensurecompliancewith contract, budget,schedule, forecasting andjob costing.
    Assistinthedevelopment andmaintenance of project schedules.
    Manage project engineering assignments to ensurework iscompletedon timeand under budget.
    Develop, implement andadminister projectengineeringproceduresand otherwork controllingdocuments to ensure clarificationof roles.
    Supervise, direct,and mentor project engineering staff to ensure individual development and thatprojectstandardsaremet.
    Directs and coordinatesactivitiesof fieldpersonnelto ensureproject progresses onschedule andwithin prescribed budget.
    Reviewsstatus reports prepared by project management and modifies schedules or plansasrequired.
    Obtain and utilize the most skilled andappropriate workers for eachtask.
    Coordinatemulti-phasesandtasksofconstruction including the management and schedulingofsubcontractors, vendorsand suppliers as well asany self-performedwork.
    ProvidesupporttoProject Manager.
    Reviewsproject proposalor plan to determine time frame, funding limitations,andproceduresfor accomplishing project.
    Participates in the preparation ofprojectreports formanagementand owners.
    Confers withproject personnel to provide technicaladvice and to resolveproblems.

    Prepare theweekly project schedulePrepare CPM monthly updatesOtherdutiesasassignedEducationMinimum of a Bachelors degree would be preferred, or equivalent combinations of technical training and related experience.

    Specific Job Knowledge, Skills And AbilityMust have a strong work ethic and excellent time management skills.
    Ability to assume responsibility, interface and communicate effectively with others is essentialExcellent writing, presentation, and computer skills.

    First Aid TrainedCPR/AED TrainedOSHA 10 TrainedOSHA 30 CertificationCertified QSP for SWPPPMust have an understanding of critical path and track delays.

    Must be proficient in Build2Win, Sketch Up and Bluebeam.
