    Our client a 64y ear old aluminium extrusion company in South Elgin and Genoa, IL is seeking an experienced Production Control Associate for its South Elgin, IL location.
    Company Description
    Our client is a technically advanced aluminium extruder specializing in custom extrusions, engineering, fabrication, welding, bending, painting, anodizing, assembly, packing, and inventory warehousing all done on-site.

    Responsibilities:

    • Releases Issues work orders for manufactured products.
    • Accommodates known constraints such as capacity, staffing and material supply in order to maximize throughput through process bottlenecks.
    • Utilize capacity planning tools to effectively balance workload.
    • Participate in the planning and scheduling of new product launches and product end of life discontinuations.
    • Work with Purchasing to ensure materials delivered achieves schedule requirements.
    • Ensure proper scheduling of materials for production in accordance with customer demands and equipment availability.
    • Prioritizes work orders and communicates expedites when needed
    • Monitors work order status to provide expected completion and ship date to the customer.
    • Maintain ERP system production schedules are accurate and up to date.
    • Manage and maintain inventory levels where applicable. WIP, Sub-Assembly components, Finished Goods.
    • Acts as the primary contact for customers, ensuring proper communication of product status.
    • Ensure proper communication of production issues with appropriate departments.
    • Coordinates shipping requirements with shipping department and customer.
    • Monitors on time delivery performance
    • Performs additional duties or tasks, as assigned.

    Skills, knowledge:


    Understanding of demand planning, production planning, and production scheduling
    Must be well organized and able to coordinate multiple tasks
    Experience working with ERP and MRP systems
    Strong data analysis, problem solving skills and mathematical ability.
    Ability to work independently or in a team environment.
    Knowledge of product manufacturing process
    Excellent oral and written communications skills
    Experience using Microsoft Office Excel, Word, Outlook

    Position includes an excellent compensation package including health, dental, vision insurance, vacation, paid holidays and 401K match. Salary commensurate with experience.
    Job Type: Full-time
    Pay: $ $27.00 per hour
    Expected hours: 40 50 per week
