    PeopleReady Skilled Trades is looking for Journeyman Carpenters for our client in Myrtle Beach. We would love to hire you for this full-time position TODAY

    Please note the pay rate for this role is $20 - $31 p/hr

    Seeking:

    • 2 Foreman / Lead carpenters
    • 4 Journeyman concrete form installers & carpenters
    • 6 carpenters / Top Helpers

    Responsibilities:

    • Cut, Shape, & Install wood and other materials required to achieve various tasks as defined in the Blueprints
    • Install metal, wood framing, concrete form, and truss components while reading and understanding blueprints and schematics
    • using hand and electric tools to cut and fabricate and install the framework, formwork & related components
    • Assemble and fasten materials to existing structures, new structures, & demo as needed
    • Shape and cut materials to specific measurements, using hand tools, machines, or power saws
    • Build or repair cabinets, doors, frameworks, floors, finishing interior and exterior trim, and other wooden fixtures
    • Construct, install, and repair structures and fixtures using wood, plywood, concrete, and wallboard
    • Maintain safety practices at all times
    • Prepare the layout and scope of work for the project
    • Ability to read and interpret blueprints a plus

    Qualifications:

    • Be at least 18 years of age and able to provide work authorization documents
    • Must be local to Kansas City area
    • Must have previous experience working as a concrete carpenter
    • Foreman must have experience leading & Running crews on large Commercial Projects
    • Previous experience with Large commercial Concrete, Carpentry, & related trades
    • Must be familiar with carpentry concepts
    • Must be familiar with carpentry tools
    • Must be familiar with construction safety practices
    • Position will require BG (May require a Drug Test)
    • Knowledge of metal stud/wood framing, material management, metal doors, hardware install, drywall, trim, cabinets/counter tops, suspended grid, tile install, etc.
