    Position Title: Quality Engineer

    Location: Baltimore, MD, US

Located in Maryland near Baltimore, with a vast facility on 180 acres, MRAS has been designing and building aircraft for over 90 years. Acquired by ST Engineering North America in 2019, MRAS is now part of a global network of aerospace facilities.

    Role Summary/Purpose:
    The Quality Engineer will oversee all Composite Bonding Quality functions, ensuring compliance with engineering and regulatory standards to achieve customer satisfaction and safety. Collaborating with a technical and operations team, this role is crucial to meeting business objectives.

    Essential Responsibilities:
    • Manage Quality functions of assigned programs or areas.
    • Serve as the Point of Contact for program Inspectors.
    • Demonstrate understanding of AS9100 and/or NADCAP requirements.
    • Implement solutions to eliminate process variation and product defects.
    • Conduct Root Cause Analysis using established tools.
    • Handle Nonconformance Items and Workflows promptly.
    • Participate in training and align tasks with business goals.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional team members/leaders.

    Requirements:
    Bachelor's Degree in Science, Engineering, or Engineering Technology.

    Desired Characteristics:
    • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
    • Strong problem-solving abilities.
    • Effective multitasking and prioritization.
    • Detail-oriented with proficiency in Microsoft applications.
    • 1 year of Production Quality experience preferred.
    • Composite experience and SAP knowledge are advantageous.
    • Experience in a Union environment is a plus.
