- Directs multiple complex projects simultaneously, including some with event or program components, to meet the current and anticipated strategic EDIB and organizational needs of HUHS.
- Provides project management expertise during project initiation, planning, execution, and closing, focused on critical success factors (e.g., project milestones and deliverables) and the development of contingency plans.
- In collaboration with the SLT, ensures alignment between strategic plan and investment of resources for projects that will impact it.
- Coordinates the prioritization of resources across initiatives and manage alignment between projects and initiatives.
- Develops and maintains detailed implementation plans for organization-wide and external committees and task forces addressing critical topics or issues.
- Ensures appropriate deliverables are developed, including but not limited to workflows, process analysis, measurement plans, implementation strategies, budget and change management plans.
- Develops content and provides well-defined frameworks to facilitate executive level discussions in project meetings and facilitates decision making among a wide variety of stakeholder groups and documents outcomes.
- Develops and implements research, project plans, integrated campaigns, roll outs, events, and other activities in support of defined priorities and objectives.
- Gathers and reports on quantitative and qualitative data, analyzing trends and information that may be useful in formulating new initiatives or outreach.
- Performs research analysis and make recommendations for next steps to advance outcomes based on analytics and key performance metrics.
- Exercises judgment and discretion to identify approaches or resolve issues,. Provides guidance, collaboration, and operational support on key projects and issues across the organization.
- Serves as a liaison to internal HUHS and Harvard teams as well as external stakeholders, constituencies, and vendors as required by initiatives and project teams.
- Maintains relationships with key stakeholders across HUHS and the Harvard community to provide ongoing dialogue and feedback on project and programing needs.
- Performs other duties and works on special projects as needed.
- Develops, implements, and manages comprehensive EDIB programs and initiatives.
- In collaboration with the Chief EDIB Officer, leads the design and delivery of learning programs and workshops on equity, diversity, inclusion, and belonging topics aimed at increasing awareness, understanding, and inclusive and equitable behaviors across the organization.
- Collaborates with executive leadership, HR, communications, and other key stakeholders to integrate EDIB principles into all aspects of the organization's operations and culture.
- Identifies areas of strength and uncovers opportunities for even greater impact, integrating them into key initiatives, goals, and multi-year priorities.
- Establishes metrics and regularly measures and reports on the effectiveness of EDIB initiatives, identifying areas for improvement and implementing strategies for change, tracks, and monitors program budget.
- Stays current on industry trends, best practices, and legal developments related to EDIB and incorporates relevant insights into program design and implementation.
- Adheres to the expectations and professional responsibilities of the department.
- Employs the standards, practices, and procedures of the department.
- Completes and complies with HUHS training requirements including HIPAA Privacy and Security.
- Reports non-compliance incidents to the supervisor, manager, and/or Compliance Officer.
