Job summary
Directly responsible for assisting in the daily operations of our production departments Meeting facility goals regarding safety quality and on-time delivery of products from one department to the next Key Responsibilities High focus on employee development and process adherence within Composites and the Pulling department Communicate information to employees within the department and to Composites leadership Work with Composites leadership to promote current quality initiatives and minimize downstream defects Drive the daily operational duties of the department to meet production demand Maintains standardized methods of operation for the department Facilitate the flow of communication between managers and down to employees concerning matters of importance Participate in implementing new manufacturing processes products and systems technology to meet operational goals Coordinate the delivery disposal chemicals supplies Work towards achieving zero defects while keeping delinquencies at or below facility goal Participate employment-related issues hiring training appraising counseling as appropriate escalate issues when necessary Support all safety initiatives maintain high awareness safety comply OSHA procedures Sets example positive behaviors expected team members Interacts hazardous waste management understand compliance requirements applicable portions CFR Resource Conservation Recovery Act handling Hazardous Waste Provided RCRA Department Transportation initial annual training ensure understanding conformance handling offering hazardous waste Daily activities puncturing aerosol cans into hazardous waste satellite approved containers picking up satellite hazardous throughout facility bring accumulation center loading hazardous approved Treatment Storage carrier truck accordance CFRJob description
