Responsibilities
Perform assigned documentation and design tasks in Revit.
Capable of assessing, managing and resolving highly complex architectural projects.
Organize and produce detailed documentation for large scale, complex projects.
Experienced on all phases/aspects of a project.
Organize construction document sets from beginning to end with little or no direction.
Translate mark-ups into working drawings, and review for completeness.
Perform thorough quality control checks of the construction document sets.
Regularly communicating and collaborating effectively with team leaders and members.
Demonstrate understanding of client, project and team requirements.
Research into
products/materials,
code/zoning, and other building-related topics.
Engaged in mentoring and training less experienced employees.
Preferred Qualifications
Associate degree or Professional Degree in
Drafting/Design/Architecture
or equivalent from an accredited college or technical school or equivalent experience or accreditation.
Minimum of 5 years of technical and construction document production experience.
Proficiency in Revit.
Understanding of building codes, building systems, and Architectural codes.
Experience with coordinating multidisciplinary consultants such as MPE, structural, and civil.
Understanding of the tasks associated with the preparation of construction documents.
Working knowledge and practice skills of architectural product systems.
Working knowledge of A&E work standards, processes, and policies.
Demonstrated ability to work under pressure, to manage deadlines and prioritize assignments.
