About Us

We are a WA–based caregiver placement agency specializing in connecting qualified caregiving professionals with premier licensed Adult Family Homes (AFHs) across the Greater Seattle area. We partner exclusively with AFHs that hold strong DSHS compliance records, maintain warm and professional environments, and are deeply committed to resident wellbeing.

Whether you are an experienced Home Care Aide looking for your next placement or someone ready to begin a meaningful career in long-term care, we have multiple immediate openings and will work with you to find the right fit for your schedule, skills, and location.

Role Description

We are actively placing caregivers across several top-rated AFHs in King County, with openings right now in:

  • Seattle
  • Bellevue
  • Redmond
  • Kirkland
  • Bothell

Shift availability includes day, evening, and overnight. Full-time, part-time, and on-call positions are open depending on the home. We will match you to a placement that aligns with your experience level, certifications, and availability.

Your Day to Day:

  • Assisting residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) — bathing, grooming, dressing, mobility, and toileting
  • Medication assistance and administration per the resident's care plan and Washington State law
  • Preparing and serving nutritious meals that accommodate individual dietary needs and restrictions
  • Monitoring and documenting residents' health status and reporting changes to the provider or nurse
  • Providing companionship, conversation, and meaningful engagement to support residents' emotional wellbeing
  • Light housekeeping, laundry, and maintaining a clean, safe home environment
  • Following individualized written care plans and participating in care plan reviews
  • Responding calmly and appropriately to emergency situations

Qualifications

All caregivers working in a licensed Adult Family Home in Washington State must meet the following legal requirements. We will help guide you through any steps you have not yet completed:

  • Pass a Washington State DSHS criminal background check. All candidates are subject to this check before beginning any placement.
  • Complete Orientation training prior to or immediately upon starting work in an AFH.
  • Complete Basic Training (75 hours) within 120 days of your hire date. Until basic training is completed, you may only provide hands-on care under direct, on-site supervision by a certified caregiver.
  • Obtain Home Care Aide (HCA) Certification through the Washington State Department of Health within 200 days of hire. This includes passing both a written/oral knowledge test and a skills demonstration test. If you get placed, we will cover the application fee of $100.
  • Complete annual Continuing Education (CE) in every year following your basic training. CE is not required in the same calendar year that basic training was completed.
  • If placed in an AFH serving residents with dementia, developmental disabilities, or mental illness, Specialty Training is also required.
  • Must be able to understand and speak English well enough to respond appropriately to emergency situations and to read and understand resident care plans. Bilingual candidates are a significant asset — please note your additional languages on your application.

Candidates who have already completed HCA certification or the Basic Training competency challenge exam are strongly preferred and may qualify for immediate placement.

Compensation & Benefits:

Compensation varies by home, shift, and level of certification. We advocate on your behalf throughout the placement process. What you can generally expect:

  • Competitive hourly wages that reflect your experience and HCA certification status ($21-28/hr)
  • Premium pay for overnight and weekend shifts at select homes
  • Paid training support available for candidates who have not yet completed HCA certification
  • Flexible scheduling and home placements matched to your geographic preference
  • Access to a network of premier, well-run AFHs with strong provider leadership

We make the process simple. Apply with your resume along with a brief note about your experience, current certifications, preferred location(s), and shift availability. A member of our placement team will be in touch within 1–2 business days to discuss open homes that fit your profile.

We are an equal opportunity employer and placement agency. We welcome applicants of all backgrounds, experience levels, and communities. What matters most is a genuine commitment to caring for others with skill, respect, and integrity.
