    Description


    Century Group is partnering with a finance company who is seeking a Senior Corporate Tax Accountant to join their team.

    Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. Expected starting base salary $90,000 to $110,000 per year.


    Job Description:
    Assist in the preparation of the quarterly and annual income tax provision Assist Big Four Tax firm in the preparation and review of federal and state income tax returns Prepare sales-use and city-business license tax returns, and personal property tax statements Assist in income tax and sales-use tax audits Prepare miscellaneous non-tax filings including census reports/ 911 emergency reports Research and respond to tax notices as needed Assist in various ad-hoc requests and other initiatives from time to time Assist in researching issues in income tax, ASC 740, sales & use tax, payroll, and other indirect taxes Requirements: Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with co-workers Experience working with enterprise software but not required Proficiency in GAAP and SEC reporting requirements and experience researching tax matters Experience: Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance and a minimum of 3 years' relevant experience REF46077 LI-POST
