    Job Description


    The role of a Quality Engineer is to implement effective quality controls, teach production staff how to use them and supervise outcomes.

    Quality Engineers design automated testing systems and quality control workflows to improve the efficiency of the quality assurance process. They collect data about instances of product errors and investigate possible solutions by troubleshooting the manufacturing or design process.


    Typical Duties and Responsibilities:

    • Investigate and resolve customer issues and complaints relating to quality.
    • Generate spreadsheets for data collection and analysis.
    • Review statistical data and product specifications to establish quality standards.
    • Formulate, document, and maintain quality control standards and on-going quality objectives.
    • Partner with the General Manger to coordinate objectives which maximize product
    quality/reliability

    and minimize costs.

    • Create, document, and implement inspection criteria and procedures.
    • Apply total quality management tools and approaches to analytical and reporting processes.
    • Maintain an active role on internal continuous improvement teams.
    • Interact with engineering and purchasing departments as necessary regarding vendor quality issues.

    • Ensure that The Mersino Way is a guiding document in all daily activities.
    • Travel both domestic and Interational to be approximately 10%.

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's Degree in engineering or a related field
    • Skills in workflow analysis and management
    • 2-3 years' experience in quality control within a manufacturing environment
    • Skills in workflow analysis and management
    • Excellent written and verbal communication and documentation skills.
    • Excellent leadership and problem-solving skills
    • Ability to read schematics, blueprints and/or technical manuals.
    • Ability to work a flexible schedule to meet job requirements.
    • Proficient in Microsoft Project, Word, Excel, and Power Point are a plus.
