Job summary
This occupational therapist will perform routine patient care and evaluate patients with mechanical, physiological, emotional, cognitive and developmental impairments.
Responsibilities
- Assesses and treats within CA licensing Board and National Board of Occupational Therapy scope of practice;
- Examines evaluates tests patients with mechanical physiological emotional cognitive developmental impairments functional limitations disability other health-related conditions
- Evaluates determines magnitude impact impairments prognosis plan therapeutic intervention appropriate frequency duration interventions
- Selects administers appropriate assessment treatment techniques addresses client factors body function structures values beliefs performance skills motor process social interaction contexts environments performs age-appropriate competency skills area practice fundamental clinical reasoning problem-solving interventions
Knowledge adherence Code Ethics performance standards specific clinician's professional organization
Knowldege available equipment vendors assigned area
Knowldege basic business aspects position utilization management charging practices regulatory practice compliance;
Knowldege evaluation treatment methodologies applied routine patient care
