A leading global supplier of highly-engineered systems for automotive flooring, acoustical, thermal, aerodynamic and other fiber-based solutions for gas and electric vehicles seeks Controls Engineer to join their team at Albemarle Plant in NC to update modify and continuously improve existing controls systems including robotic programs electrical distribution motor controls multiple operator interfaces hydraulics pneumatics distribution control design develop new machine controls involving robotics electrical hydraulic pneumatic vision applications coordinate with engineering maintenance on existing machine controls modifications issues keep equipment function production running knowledge machine plant networking solutions work OEMs guarantee new equipment designed built facility safety controls standards integrate barcode scanners cameras PLC control systems provide electrical support injection molding press systems provide support injection molding robotics assemble verification poke yoke systems existing equipment identify cost reduction opportunities teach functionality devices controls as technology advances updated assure all system maintained maximum acceptable levels assigned.
