    Description

    Mid-sized company -- Candidates need to live within 1-2 hours of Orlando/ Maitland area

    Position will report to Director IT

    • Collaborate with IT team to implement standard operational processes and policies from the ground up for a rapid growth/scalable business
    • Communicate effectively with and manage MSPs to deliver critical infrastructure upgrades
    • Oversight of Tier 1/help desk resources to meet service request SLAs of Orlando HQ
    • Strong skills in assessing current state and re-engineering what happened within an environment
    • Organized and passionate about bringing order out of chaos
    • Partial Hybrid to be onsite as needed (multiple times a month). Must reside within commutable distance
    • Distribution/ warehouse/ transportation fulfillment out of central Orlando-based DC
    • Manage compliance requirements and on-going projects, as needed
    • Ideal candidate is someone that thrives on big challenges

    RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Hands-on leader with a range of experience in IT infrastructure support, including network hardware, fleet/device management, and security compliance
    • Mix of on-prem and cloud hosting an extension of resources will be key to the success of the role.
    • IT systems infrastructure and experience interacting with vendors and managed service providers as
    • Manage cloud and on-premise servers, network hardware (switches, routers, wireless devices) secure storage, peripherals, file shares, drive mapping, documentation of policies and procedures, etc.
    • Build and improve processes for user on/off boarding, device procurement, cost management, in collaboration with MSP
    • Assist Tier 1 Help Desk in timely and complete resolution of issues
    • Communicate with executives and stakeholders frequently
    • Grow to manage and own IT Operations independently and collaboratively
    • Lead and manage key infrastructure projects

    • Strong ability to "reverse engineer" and assess
