    Job Title: Peer Specialist

    • Peer Specialists play a crucial role in assisting individuals in setting and achieving personal recovery goals through one-on-one and group sessions. They support individuals in accessing therapeutic services and help them navigate through challenging times.

    • Support individuals, families, and caregivers in reaching their goals and maintaining well-being, especially those affected by challenging circumstances.
    • Collaborate with clinicians to enhance treatment and healthcare services for our clients.
    • Share personal experiences to provide insights, coping mechanisms, and support in the journey towards recovery and well-being.
    • Provide assistance in linking individuals to essential services and resources.


    Pay Range & Benefits:

    • Peer Specialist I - $25.69/hr (high school diploma or equivalent)
    • Peer Specialist II - $27.35/hr (high school diploma/GED equivalent with Colorado Peer and Family Specialist Certification)
    • Language Differential - $1/hr - $2.50/hr

    Responsibilities & Duties:

    • Orient individuals to available programs and services.
    • Report safety concerns to clinical staff.
    • Assist in crisis intervention and support planning.
    • Document interactions in Electronic Health Record accurately.
    • Participate in program meetings and training sessions.

    Requirements & Qualifications:

    • High School diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
    • Colorado Peer and Family Specialist Certification.
    • Minimum 1 year experience in mental health or social work field.
    • Personal experience with mental health services.
