- Implement and monitor patient care plans. Monitor, record and communicate patient condition as appropriate.
- Serve as a primary coordinator of all disciplines for well-coordinated patient care.
- Note and carry out physician and nursing orders.
- Assess and coordinate patient's discharge planning needs with members of the healthcare team.

- Assess and coordinate discharge planning needs with patient, family, and members of the healthcare team.
- Assess the physical and psychological status of patients, provide interventions/treatments and evaluate effectiveness of care to achieve desired patient outcomes.
- Evaluate learning needs of patient and family and provide age-specific and culturally appropriate education. All other duties as assigned.
- BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
- Certification specializing in Neonatal Resuscitation credentialed from the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP) obtained within 6 Months (180 days) of hire date or job transfer date required.
- Certification specializing in The S.T.A.B.L.E Program obtained within 6 Months (180 days) of hire date or job transfer date required.
- Licensed Registered Nurse credentialed from the Tennessee Board of Nursing OR current home state license for multi-state license recognition Compact State obtained within 2 Months (60 days) of hire date or job transfer date required.
