    Envision Schools seeks an experienced Director of Talent & HR to serve as a key leader in shaping the talent strategy and HR operations of our small public charter school network.

    The Director of Talent and HR will serve as a key leader in shaping the talent strategy and HR operations of our organization.

    This role, in collaboration with the HR and Talent team, Senior Leadership and Principals, will be responsible for designing and executing comprehensive recruitment initiatives, overseeing hiring processes, and collaborating closely with the HR and Talent team to ensure alignment with organizational goals.

    The Director will provide personalized credentialing support to staff, lead teacher evaluation systems, and spearhead the development of performance management frameworks.

    Core HR functions including policy development, benefits selection, employee relations, and data management will be led by the Director, who will also play a critical role in fostering a positive and inclusive workplace culture.

    The Director of Talent and HR will report to the Senior Director of Talent and HR.
    Recruitment and Hiring
    Design and build a robust talent pipeline for our schools and network level team in collaboration with the Senior Director of HR and Talent and Associate Director of Talent Acquisition
    Lead and manage hiring processes in collaboration with the Senior Director of HR and Talent and Associate Director of Talent Acquisition
    Support High Quality Talent and Instructional leadership
    Lead and provide personalized credentialing support to our staff to ensure fully compliant staff
    Lead our new teacher evaluation system, including refinements to policy based on data
    Pilot and build values-aligned performance management systems for other roles
    Design and lead manager training and development
    Lead Core HR functions
    Work in collaboration with the Senior Director of HR and Talent and the HR and Talent coordinator to build and refine HR systems, policies and practices
    Lead the selection and implementation of employee benefits, including retirement and insurance
    Lead employee relations
    Manage employee leaves and workers compensations processes
    Lead termination processes and data collection to support ongoing learning and improvement for our organization
    5+ years of instructional leadership, preferably as a school leader or coaching schools leaders
    ~ Preferred experience with HRIS systems
