Position Overview:
As a Nurse Educator, you will play a key role in developing, implementing, and evaluating educational programs for nurses at various stages of their careers.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and deliver educational programs for nursing staff, including orientation programs, continuing education, and professional development opportunities.
Collaborate with nursing leadership to assess the learning needs of the nursing staff and develop targeted educational interventions.
Utilize innovative teaching methods and technology to enhance the learning experience.
Evaluate the effectiveness of educational programs through assessments and feedback, making continuous improvements as needed.
Provide mentorship and support to nursing staff, fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional growth.
Stay current with advancements in nursing practice, healthcare technology, and educational best practices.
Qualifications:
Current license as a Registered Nurse (RN) in NY.
Minimum of 3 years of clinical nursing experience.
Previous experience in nursing education in SNF, curriculum development, and program evaluation.
Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency in utilizing technology for educational purposes.
Salary:
$115,000 - $120,000
