    Introduction to the teamThe Solution Architect will drive the technical capabilities and leadership of an Information Technology (IT) product group team.


    This individual will require strong technology and communication skills to work closely with Product Group Senior Managers, Product Line Managers, business owners, solution engineers and tech leads to define system architecture across multiple products, and guide technology standards and strategy.


    The Solution Architect may have Career Advisor responsibilities for technical team members and will report to the Product Group Senior Manager.

    Responsibilities:


    Partner with business units and product group leaders to develop future architectural vision by understanding business goals and product capabilities Design, develop, and communicate plans for new and existing solution targeting, both on-premise software and the cloud with product teamDefine the software development lifecycle with other solution architects and evangelize within product groupDevelop high-level product specifications while considering system integration and feasibility and communicate to product teamsProvide technical guidance and coaching to developers and engineers; may act as career advisor to technical team membersBuild end-to-end solutions using Microsoft technology stackDevelop and collaborate on establishing architecture standards, patterns and practices with other solution architects to be used repeatedly across solutionsCollaborate with Security Operations on security and risk-related issues such as Role Based Access Control (RBAC), Security Code Analysis (SCA), System and Organization Controls (SOC) compliance and data governance; guide product teams to develop a plan to change or resolve security/risk issues Develop and maintain a very broad set of knowledge across the full technology spectrum and latest industry innovationsQualifications:Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required; emphasis in computer science or a related discipline preferredMinimum of 5 years of related experience in a complex IT organization required; including demonstrated involvement with building and leading high-performing teams and fostering an inclusive culture in a remote environmentStrong experience with Microsoft technology stack developing web applications and/ or architecting solutions with third party applications Significant experience designing and implementing solutions with Microsoft Azure Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interface directly with stakeholders, employees, and leaders at all levels within the firmSolid technical writing skills and experience in documenting solution architectureExperience integrating, implementing, managing, maintaining 3rd party applications including vendor engagement, technical oversight, architecture and change oversightExperience with multiple UI frameworks (React, Blazor) as well Power Platform technologies (PowerBI and PowerAutomate)Demonstrated successful team management skills such as leading a technical team, providing structure and guidance, team building, holding team members accountable, and conflict resolutionAbility to travel as needed, approximately 5% Moss Adams is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
