- Adheres to and utilizes standard engineering methods and techniques used on construction projects of limited size and complexity.
- Performs technical review and advisory/assistance for AFCEC design and construction projects.
- Prepares requirements documents (i.e
- Oversees construction to ensure inspection practices and procedures involved in the inspection of building materials, workmanship, utilities, and the installation of systems are followed.
- Oversees construction to ensure safety practices in the construction industry are followed.
- Bachelor's Degree in related field, Engineering (civil, mechanical or electrical), Construction Management, Project Management or Registered Architect (an additional 8 years of relevant experience may be considered to substitute for a Bachelor's Degree).
- Minimum 10 years of relevant experience (with USAF or military preferred; relevant technical certifications can be substituted for three years' experience)
- Ability to read and interpret engineering, blueprints and architectural plans and specifications.
- Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.
- Ability to obtain a Common Access Card (CAC) or have an active CAC or active clearance.
- Some travel may be required (up to 15%).
