Perform a broad range technical review and advisory/assistance for AFCEC design and construction projects at across the Air Force

The ability to obtain a Secret Clearance is required Compensation & Benefits: Estimated Starting Salary Range for

Construction Manager:
$100,000 to $110,000
Pay commensurate with experience
Full time benefits include Medical, Dental, Vision, 401K and other possible benefits as provided

Construction Manager Responsibilities Include:

• Adheres to and utilizes standard engineering methods and techniques used on construction projects of limited size and complexity.
• Performs technical review and advisory/assistance for AFCEC design and construction projects.
• Prepares requirements documents (i.e

statements of work, cost estimates, lists of project deliverables, etc.) for design and construction contract documents packages.

• Oversees construction to ensure inspection practices and procedures involved in the inspection of building materials, workmanship, utilities, and the installation of systems are followed.
• Oversees construction to ensure safety practices in the construction industry are followed.

Performs other job-related duties as assigned Construction Manager Experience, Education, Skills, Abilities requested:

• Bachelor's Degree in related field, Engineering (civil, mechanical or electrical), Construction Management, Project Management or Registered Architect (an additional 8 years of relevant experience may be considered to substitute for a Bachelor's Degree).
• Minimum 10 years of relevant experience (with USAF or military preferred; relevant technical certifications can be substituted for three years' experience)
• Ability to read and interpret engineering, blueprints and architectural plans and specifications.
• Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.
• Ability to obtain a Common Access Card (CAC) or have an active CAC or active clearance.
• Some travel may be required (up to 15%).
• Must pass pre-employment qualifications of Cherokee Federal
