    Job Title:

    Nurse Practitioner

    Job Summary:

    We are seeking a highly skilled Nurse Practitioner to join our team at JWCH Institute, Inc. and Wesley Health Centers. The successful candidate will provide high-quality, patient-centered care to our patients, delivering primary and preventive healthcare services in a fast-paced clinical setting.

    Responsibilities:

    1. Conduct thorough physical examinations, diagnose conditions, and implement effective treatment plans.
    2. Elicit and review patient histories, adhering to clinical standards.
    3. Treat acute health conditions, including illnesses, infections, or injuries, and counsel patients on prescribed medications.
    4. Order, perform, and interpret diagnostic tests such as CBCs, EKGs, and x-rays.
    5. Provide patient education and information relevant to care and treatment plans.
    6. Follow up on abnormal laboratory results and ensure appropriate evaluation and care.
    7. Seek consultations and make referrals as needed for comprehensive care.

    Requirements:

    1. Current, unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) and Nurse Practitioner (NP) License in the state of California.
    2. Current CPR Certification from American Heart Association.
    3. Current and unrestricted DEA Certificate.
    4. At least 2 years of experience as a Nurse Practitioner in a clinical setting, preferably in primary care.
    5. Excellent clinical skills in performing patient assessments, diagnosis, and treatment planning.
    6. Ability to prescribe medications and develop treatment plans based on patient needs and best practices.
    7. Collaboration with a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
