Project Manager - Geology/Hydrogeology

California based environmental consulting firm in need of some expertise project management. We are a growing company who provide great work life balance and a great amount of autonomy. Preferred backgrounds include Geology/Hydrogeology or Civil/Environmental Engineering with 5-10 years of experience in environmental consulting. Bonus if you bring experience with chlorinated solvents, we're definitely into that kind of stuff

Qualifications:

• B.S. or M.S. in Geology/Hydrogeology or Civil/Environmental Engineering
• A California Professional Geologist or Professional Engineer license
• Experience designing and implementing environmental investigations and remediation
• Experience managing projects and personnel required
• Experience with litigation support desirable

Key Responsibilities:

• Managing all aspects of projects including budgets, personnel, and deadlines
• Interacting with clients, their attorneys, regulatory agencies, subcontractors, company staff, and the general public to complete the project
• Writing work plans, reports, and other project correspondence
• Overseeing field investigations including indoor air, soil, soil vapor, and groundwater sampling programs
• Designing, installing, and operating remedial systems
• Often training and mentoring less senior staff
