Role DescriptionWe're hiring a Media & Social Content Coordinator to lead content creation and distribution for Smallegan Real Estate.
This is a hands-on creative position focused first on producing high-quality listing media, and second on turning that content into engaging, brand-building social media.
You will own all media and social execution for the team. We expect initiative, problem-solving, and forward momentum without constant direction.You'll work directly with leadership and agents to:
Capture residential properties at a high level
Create engaging short-form and long-form social content
Maintain brand consistency
Track performance and improve results over time
What Success Looks Like
Listings consistently look sharp, clean, and professional
3–5 listing shoots handled per week depending on season
Multiple short-form videos produced weekly
Social content is consistent and growing in engagement
Agents feel confident and supported on camera
Content is posted on time without reminders
Monthly reporting is clear and actionable
You will be expected to own your lane, take initiative, and bring ideas to the table.

ResponsibilitiesPhotograph and video residential properties, including drone footage when needed
Edit listing photos and videos to a clean, professional standard
Create short-form vertical video content for Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, and YouTube
Repurpose listings, events, podcasts, and team moments into multiple pieces of content
Develop and manage a weekly content calendar
Post and monitor content across all major social platforms
Direct agents on camera and help them feel comfortable and confident
Maintain brand consistency across all platforms
Track performance metrics and deliver a clear monthly analytics report with insights and recommendations
Manage multiple shoots and deadlines without sacrificing quality
Company equipment is provided. Experience operating professional cameras, audio, lighting, and drone equipment is required.
Qualifications
1+ years of experience in videography, photography, or social media content creation
Strong editing skills in Adobe Creative Suite (Premiere Pro required; Photoshop/Lightroom preferred)
Experience shooting with DSLR or mirrorless cameras and professional audio equipment
Ability to shoot and edit vertical short-form video optimized for social platforms
Strong understanding of lighting, framing, pacing, and storytelling
Highly organized with strong time management skills
Comfortable working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
Confident communicator who can work directly with agents and clients
Drone license preferred but not required
Real estate media experience preferred but not required
Must provide a portfolio of recent work
Growth Opportunity

As the team and media presence expand, this position can evolve into a Creative Director role overseeing brand strategy, agent media support, content campaigns, and potentially additional creative team members.
