    Description
    High tech publicly traded organization, in Mountain View is searching for a Sr. Accounting Manager or Director of Consolidations and Corporate Accounting.


    Location:
    3 days on site, with flexibility to come in more often at the beginning is preferred

    Keys:
    CPA and Big4 preferredPublic company experience requiredNetSuite requiredConsolidation experience required- This is hands on and review of 3 subsidiaries booksWHAT YOU'


    LL DO:


    Build, implement and maintain scalable intercompany and consolidation processes and procedures Ensure timely and accurate Month end close and preparation of F/SReview GL Journal entries and ReconciliationsLikely manage 1-2 direct reports.

    This is still being determinedBe a key member coordinating with tax, legal and compliance to draft intercompany agreements and implement processes to appropriately monitor adherence to such agreementsIdentify key differences between US GAAP and local accounting policies, educating the broader accounting function and be the owner of the statutory reporting books in our ERPFor further international expansion, be the subject matter expert providing the cross functional team with insightful considerations when doing business in foreign jurisdictions and be a key member in operationalizing new international entities Engage and manage local finance teams and external accounting firms ensuring timely and accurate statutory reporting and reporting to headquartersAnalyze and ensure accuracy of subsidiary financial result reporting packages including operational results, balance sheet fluctuations and cash flows WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR:

    At least 10 years of experience in a combination of industry and public accounting experience with at least 5 years in a similar functionBachelor's degree and CPA, experience working with financial service regulators a plusSomeone that is excited to work in a fast-paced and challenging global environment and own critical decision-making responsibilities to build the teamA critical thinker that has shown the ability to independently understand and solve complex problemsExperienced with accounting rules and reporting requirements in a variety of international jurisdictions including but not limited to China, India and Germany The proven ability to design and implement effective operational controls and processes for a fast growing global companyA proven ability to communicate effectively with all levels of the organization and to build strong working relationships cross functionallyProficient with NetSuite or a similar ERP requiredExcellent written and verbal communication skillsDeWinter Group and Maris Consulting is an equal opportunity employer, and all qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, age, sex, national origin, disability status, genetics, protected veteran status, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, or any other characteristic protected by federal, state or local laws.
